Trials (Week 3, 2025) Preview

Well we have team lists for the final dress rehearsal, with coaches looking to make final decisions on their squads heading into round 1. With so many cheapies potentially available, their performance this weekend is going to be critical to their round 1 hopes. Studs and Duds (2025's Highest Owned Players Analysed)

With less than two weeks until kick off in Vegas, the Amateurs run a fine tooth comb over the top 52 highest owned players (everyone over 8% ownership) to sort the STUDS from the DUDS in our biggest episode of every year. It is finally time for (unofficial) kickoff, as the Sharks, Raiders, Warriors, Panthers and Broncos blow out the cobwebs in their first trial match of the year, with the Warriors naming a near full strength side, the Sharks and Panthers with a few round 1 locks scattered throughout and some jerseys on the line, while the Raiders and Broncos give us hints about who is NOT there in their B sides.
